The work
I · Proof

One live system. Built end to end.

Client · Measure Joy

Restored Y2K cameras, sold on infrastructure built for them.

Measure Joy restores and sells Y2K digital cameras. Kahla built an independent storefront around Christian's real operating workflow: catalog, checkout, BNPL, inventory, customer communication, and an AI product concierge. Kahla operates the technical infrastructure after launch.

Why this is the proof we lead with

It is a real system a real owner runs his business on — not a portfolio concept. The case study covers the constraints, what was built, and what changed, in plain terms.

II · See it working

Three ways to judge the work.

III · The problem

Most businesses do not have a traffic problem. They have a handoff problem.

Revenue rarely disappears in one dramatic place. It leaks in the gaps between tools — the moments where a customer is handed from one system, or one person, to the next.

01

Calls go unanswered

The phone rings while everyone is working. The caller does not leave a voicemail. They call the next business on the list.

02

Forms get slow replies

A website inquiry sits in an inbox until the end of the week. By then the prospect has stopped comparing and started buying elsewhere.

03

Booking needs a staff member

Every appointment takes a phone call, a text thread, and a calendar check. Scheduling depends on someone being free to do it.

04

Customer information is scattered

The phone knows one thing, the inbox another, the calendar a third. Nobody sees the whole customer, so follow-up falls through.

05

Checkout and inventory create busywork

Listing products, reconciling stock, and answering the same buyer questions eat hours that should go into the actual work.

06

The website vendor disappeared

The site went live, the invoice was paid, and now nobody maintains it, measures it, or connects it to anything else.

IV · Put a number on it

Estimate your opportunity exposure.

Five inputs, one transparent formula, computed entirely in your browser. Nothing you type here is sent or stored unless you choose to carry the result into a Revenue Leak Review request.

V · What we build

Two kinds of system. One way of working.

Service-business revenue systems

For owner-operated service businesses losing inquiries between the phone, website, calendar, and front desk.

  • Missed-call response
  • AI receptionist
  • Online booking
  • Lead qualification
  • Reminders and follow-up
  • Conversion-focused website

Commerce infrastructure

For product businesses that need a storefront and operating workflow tailored to how they actually sell.

  • Independent storefront
  • Stripe checkout
  • Catalog and inventory workflows
  • BNPL integration
  • Product concierge
  • Ongoing operation

Local-search work is a supporting capability inside a service-business engagement when it is relevant — not a standalone product.

VI · No black boxes

The exact path through the system.

Service business: from first ring to follow-up

  1. Call or form

A prospect rings the business line or sends the website form — at any hour.

    How intake works
  2. Qualification

The assistant applies your written rules: service area, job type, timing, fit.

    Qualification rules
  3. Calendar

Qualified prospects book straight into the calendar your team already uses.

    Booking outcomes
  4. Reminder

Confirmations and reminders go out automatically, so booked work actually happens.

    Reminders & follow-up
  5. Payment

Deposits or payments are collected where your policy calls for them.

    How scoping works
  6. Follow-up

Missed and unfinished inquiries get followed up before they go cold — with a written record.

    Hear it handle a call

Commerce: from product data to repeat buyer

  1. Product data

Structured catalog data — condition, detail, and stock state — entered once.

    Catalog workflows
  2. Storefront

An independent storefront shaped around the inventory, not a theme's assumptions.

    See Measure Joy's
  3. Checkout

Stripe checkout on the business's own account, with BNPL for higher-ticket items.

    Payments
  4. Fulfillment comms

Order and shipping email connected to the same customer record.

    Customer communication
  5. Concierge

An AI concierge answers buyer questions from approved product and policy information.

    How it's grounded
  6. Waitlist & remarketing

Sold-out demand is captured, not lost — buyers register interest for restocks.

VII · Who does the work

The person scoping the work is the person responsible for it.

Kahla is led by Kov Rastogi, a systems-focused operator with experience across secure enterprise infrastructure, utility project operations, startup diligence, and AI model evaluation. Kov personally maps, scopes, and leads every Kahla engagement. When a project needs specialist work, collaborators are brought in transparently — never hidden behind an account layer.

“I choose technology the way I choose restaurants: proven, useful, and still busy on a Tuesday.”

VIII · How it goes

Diagnose. Scope. Build. Operate.

01

Diagnose

We map where inquiries, bookings, payments, or staff time are currently leaking.

02

Scope

You receive a written system map, fixed deliverables, timeline, dependencies, and pricing.

03

Build

Kahla builds and connects the agreed system with weekly demonstrations.

04

Operate

After launch, Kahla monitors, maintains, and improves the parts included in your operating plan.

The full structure, including what every engagement does and does not include, lives on Process & Pricing.

IX · Founding partners

Founding partner engagements, honestly limited.

Founding engagements are for businesses willing to collaborate closely, provide access to real operating data, and permit Kahla to document the work as a case study. In exchange, founding partners receive reduced early-stage pricing and direct founder access.

X · Before you ask

Straight answers to the usual questions.

Q.01 How does pricing work?
Pricing is provided after the Revenue Leak Review. Every engagement is scoped in writing first: a system map, fixed deliverables, timeline, dependencies, and a fixed build price. Ongoing operation is quoted separately. Nothing is billable until you approve the scope. See Process & Pricing for the full structure.
Q.02 Who actually does the work?
Every engagement is scoped and led directly by Kov Rastogi, the founder. There is no sales-to-account-manager-to-developer handoff. When a project needs specialist work, Kahla brings in collaborators transparently — optional and project-dependent, never hidden behind an account layer.
Q.03 What happens after launch?
A system is not finished merely because it has been deployed. If your engagement includes an operating plan, Kahla monitors, maintains, and improves the parts covered by it, month to month. If you would rather run it yourself, you get documentation and a clean handover.
Q.04 What if Kahla is not the right fit?
We tell you. The Revenue Leak Review is a fit assessment as much as a diagnosis — twenty minutes, free, no obligation, and you keep the three written observations either way. Kahla is a small studio and takes on work selectively.
